1. Tournament Director retains the right to refuse any entrants. All decisions by the Tournament Director are final. 2. Each participant must pay a $20.00 annual membership fee. $15.00 will automatically be applied to the 2-day championship. $5.00 will be used for equipment maintenance/supplies, etc. 3. Registration will be held at each event from 4:30 am until 15 minutes prior to first cast (The specific location and first cast time will be announced the day prior no later than 5:00 pm). All weigh-ins will be 3:00 pm for each event unless otherwise directed by the director (Weather, emergency situations etc.). It is each Teams responsibility to know and abide by these times. Note: Early event registration may be made NLT than 6:00 pm Wednesday before the tournament via Paypal at funkbusterspinnerbaits@gmail.com. Any angler under the age of 18 must have a parent/Legal guardian signature on the registration form. 4. Safety Cancellations: The tournament director may cancel any scheduled event do to safety (Weather, high water etc….). This call will be made and posted no later than noon the day prior to the event. 5. Entry fee for each event will be $100.00 per Team/boat. The following is the breakdown of entry Fee: $10.00 Big Bass (This will be paid out 2 places at weigh-in) $10.00 will be retained and added to the Trail Championship $80.00 will be added to the event payout which will paid to the top 5 heaviest weights. Sample Payout Based on 50 Teams ($100.00) 1st: $1800 2nd: $1000 3rd: $600 4th: $400 5th: $200 Big Bass – $300.00 and $200.00 ***NOTE: For every 5 teams over 50 we will add one more paid place*** 6. Points: First place team will receive 100 points, second place will receive 99 and so on. In the event of a tie, both teams will receive the highest points for that position. In the event a team(s) zero, they will receive the last points awarded (e.g. five teams zero and last points for weighed fish is 19th then all teams remaining tie for 20th). 7. A participant may fish by themselves in any or all events. Once a partner is declared accrued points will be lost and the team points will be counted for the overall season standings. 8. Only artificial baits may be used. No live bait. Only one rod may be used at a time per angler and trolling with the big motor is not allowed. 9. No alcohol may be consumed during the Tournament Hours. 10. Life jacket(s) must be worn and secured with kill switch attached (Driver) while the boat is on plane. 11. Penalties (fish): Dead fish will result in half (.50) lb. penalty. Slot or short fish will result in a 1 lb. penalty and loss of that fish. Tournaments will be a fish limit per team and at no time shall a team have more than five fish in their live well except when culling. While in the process of culling neither participant will be actively fishing. If you are found to have more than five fish in your possession you will be penalized by loss of your biggest fish along with a 1 lb deduction from your total weight. 12. Penalties (weigh-ins): Fish may be weighed no earlier than 30 minutes prior to scheduled weigh-in time. A 1 lb penalty will be added for each minute late to weigh-in established time and will result in a zero score after 15 minutes. Dead fish may not be weighed for Big Bass. Note: ALL fish must be weighed in using ONLY the team trail scales. 13. In case of a tie for any of the paid positions, money will be combined and split equally between the two Teams. 14. To qualify for the Championship, you must do so one of two ways: 1) Finish the year in the Top 20 in points or 2) Fishing/paying a minimum of at least five of the seven qualifying tournaments. 15. No teams will fish closer than 25 feet to another team during the event unless you have consent from the other team. 16. Any State/Federal law violations will result in an automatic disqualification of the event and may result removal of the trail for the remainder of the season. 17. Protests must be received by the Tournament Director NLT than 15 minutes after the scales close. “The undersigned individual hereby releases and forever discharges Funkbuster Spinnerbaits, its owners, directors, officers, shareholders, underwriters and insurance agents and employees from any and all claims, demands, rights and causes of action whatsoever cause and nature I may have arising out of my participation in the Tournament, including but not limited to any action for any injury or damage to property, any neighboring property, or occurring while we are traveling to or from the property. This release shall also cover any injury resulting from use of any equipment of any type on the property. This release shall be binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, personnel representatives, personal representatives, successors, and assigns.
